Ayun na nga.  Experience?  I thought this place was just an ordinary resort.  But as soon as I stepped on this island,  I felt different na.  Its like you're still at home as Nay Jo treated us as not just as guests but like their family.  Food was superb.  Sobrang sarap!  I can say that she cooked with TLC.  Super busog to the max.  Plus the fact we were with our friends / officemates makes the experience more fun.  First time to do snorkelling.  Oh, first I was afraid because I don't know how to swim.  But since Nay Jo let us use their gear, I saw the hidden treasures of Isla Verde have.  Awesome coral reefs!  We enjoyed kayaking too, and able to reach Maliit na nalayag and had the fun of rock climbing.

The bonfire at night is so romantic for us.  Will definitely return to this island.

Arvin and Yna - A Happy Birthday

Arvin came with his wife Yna' s to celebrate her birthday in our resort.  They stayed in one of our kubos together while their son spent some time with his grandparents.  While they were here, they had time to swim and go snorkelling together, with Dieter as their guide.  He took the couple to different snorkelling areas, and they had fun looking at the corals and other marine species that are like a beautiful garden just a short distance from our resort.

I loved watching them grilling some meat and afterwards while they spent time together enjoying the food.

At night they sat around a bonfire with a couple drinks while watching the milky way in our night sky.

It was only a short stay for the couple, but Yna told us it's the best birthday for her.  She sent us this message / review:

 My wife & I spent 3D2N for almost P3000 depending on type of room you choose.The resort's owners (Jo & Diet) are extremely kind and the locals are nice too.
On the 18th my spent her 26th Bday with a special gift from resort owners (unexpected) but very thankful.

Ring My Belle - A love story

Nagkakilala kami ni Thags sa isang Facebook page. Nagka-chat, nagkakuhaan ng number at hanggang sa naging kami nang hindi pa nagkikita ng personal. Sa akin noon, wala naman kasi akong balak na pumasok sa seryosong relasyon dahil masakit pa sa akin ‘yung past ko, kumbaga, naghahanap lang talaga ako ng rebound at alam ni Thags ‘yun. Parang trip-trip lang ‘to na tulungan ‘yung isa’t isa na maka-get over kasi siya din nu’n ei galing sa break-up.

Dumating ‘yung time na gusto niya nang makipagkita. Ako naman, dahil mukha siyang interesting na tao at nagja-jive ‘yung mga gusto namin sa buhay – mula music, pagkain hanggang sa political views, eh sige, go na din  Akala ko magiging awkward kasi first time magkikita tapos may relasyon na, pero hindi pala! Hehe. Hindi ko kayang maipaliwanag pero me’ron agad certain feeling ng pagiging komportable sa isa’t isa. Parang kung paano kami mag-usap at magbiruan sa text, ganu’n din. Except na ‘eto, kaharap ko na siya.

Sabi ko bago kami magkita, kung after ng meet-up ay hindi na siya interesadong ipagpatuloy eh sabihin niya lang sa akin. At ganoon din naman ang gagawin ko if ever na hindi ko na bet. Nu’ng hinatid niya ako sa sakayan, wala naman siyang confirmation kung ipagpapatuloy o hindi itong so-called relationship namin. Wala na rin akong sinabi pero iniisip ko baka hindi na lang siya magte-text at matic na ‘yun. Pero nag-text pa din siya after ng meet-up at nagtuluy-tuloy ang lahat. Dahil taga-Nueva Ecija pa siya nu’n at nandito ako sa Maynila, once a month ay lumuluwas pa siya para lang magkita kami. Ganoon lang hanggang sa hindi ko namalayan na ilang buwan na lang ay mag-iisang taon na kami. Siguro mga 3 months before ng 1st year anniversary namin, sinabi niya sa akin na dito na siya mag-i’stay at magta-trabaho sa Maynila para naman maging malapit na kami sa isa’t isa. Doon ko naramdaman na mahal na talaga ako ng lalaking ito. Kung ako ang tatanungin, hindi ko rin alam kung kalian ko na-realize na mahal ko na din siya. Hindi na ‘to trip-trip lang.

Dumaan ang mga taon - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year anniversary. Wala naming nagbabago sa amin –basta lagi lang masaya, petty lang ‘yung mga tampuhan at madaling nare-resolve, para lang mga bata na laging nagkukulitan at nagtatawanan kahit sa maliliit na bagay. Parehas kasi kaming mababaw lang ang kaligayahan. Though, marami kaming struggles noon tulad ng nawalan kami ng trabaho. Tapos nag-negosyo kami ng accessories-making na itinitinda namin sa mga kamag-anak. Para makatipid, nilalakad lang namin noon mula Quiapo (doon kasi angaktan ng materyales) hanggang Malate kapag inihahatid niya ako sa amin. May side trip na pasyal sa Luneta at palamig sa aircon ng Robinson’s Ermita. Tapos street foods na lang ang meryenda, minsan nga, samalamig na lang. Hehe. Pero masaya pa din kami nu’n at hindi naming masyado naiisip na ang hirap-hirap na.

Hanggang sa unti-unting nagkaroon ng liwanag ang buhay. Naks! Parang Meralco lang. Haha! :D Natanggap ako sa Government Service at after ilang months, nagkaroon na rin siya ng isang stable job sa isang laboratory clinic. Nakakapag-ipon na kami nito, tapos travel, saka nasusuportahan na namin ‘yung mga pamilya namin. Solve na. Salamat sa Diyos.

Dumating ang year 2016, nagsabi na siya ng intention na gusto na niya akong pakasalan. This is it, pancit! Naganap ang kasalan noong Dec. 04, 2016 – 5 years and a month namin bilang magkasintahan. At gaya pa rin noon – ipon at travel. Kaya nang matuklasan namin itong Isla Verde – aba, go na kami agad. Hehe. Sana din makabalik kami dito at makapag-stay pa ng mas matagal na time.

Raul and Love Forever

Me and Love has roller coaster experiences in our relationship.  They said the more struggle to come in every relationship, the stronger the foundation it is.  The true story why we here in your resort is a week before from this day, me and Love got misunderstanding regarding on bonding time (quality time).  So I decided to go out of town with her to have quality time with each other.  And, indeed Isla Vetde Tropical Friendly Resort gave us a wonderful experience  that made our relationship stronger.

Our love story po.!kasi as i was remember pinabalik niyo po yung logbook..hehe kaso not sure po kung sinulatan ni raul.hehe kaya para sure ito na..

How we started as couple.??

Way back 2010, my parent decided na tapusin ko po yung studies ko. kasi 5 years after graduating high school nag work na po ako to help them. sa sobrang hirap ng buhay tita jo kailangan talaga mag hanap buhay ng maaga. pero sa sobrang bait ni lord god, binigyan niya ako ng blessing to continue my studies po. (Related ba to sa love story namen? Yes po. kasi ito ang dahilan kung bakit nakiala ko si Raul). First year college, clasmate kme tita jo, so mas matanda ako sa knila ng 4 years, some of them "ATE' na ang tawag sakin. except him huh. hindi ko alam kung bastos ba siya or tlagang wala lang paki alam sa gap ng edad.haha naiinis talaga ako sa kanya tita kasi may kayabangan taglay. though magaling siya sa academics.. to make story short po, natapus yung 4 years of college life na batch mate lang talaga kme. (batch mate kasi na shuffle yung section 2nd sem of first year). after graduation, may mga kanya kanyang work na po kme. siya nakapag work sa HONDA as marketing research po. ako naman sa TCP sa Laguna. one day nabasa ko status niya sa facebook na he will be going to Bacolod for marketing survey po. then, ako naman because of i'm from bacolod binigyan ko siya ng mga tips and basic word po na salita namen. para hindi siya maloko while he staying at bacolod po. then after, dn na po nag start chatting na texting and patawag tawag na po ang lolo niyo.hehe lumalabas nadin po kame and yun April 19, 2015 naging kame po. but, i thought hanggang don nalang po yung story, kasi nagka hiwalay po kme tita, third party po sa part ko. :( i was so tanga that time. na pnakawalan ko pa siya just because of desire sa isang tao na hindi naman pala talaga ako mahal.. almost 10 months po kame wala communication that time po tita after namen nag usap to end up our story. block niya ako sa facebook he change his cellphone number po. naiintindihan ko naman po kasi kasalan ko naman talaga sobra. nagkataon pa po na he will be undergo operation po. He have a herniated nucleus populous na naging cancerous na po. but thank god na agapan po. continues medications and checking padin po kame sa blood niya until today. positiv na naman po ang nagging respone ng mga result tita. basta avoid lang talaga sa bawal.. balik tayo sa story, hehe first week of october yun nag paramdam na po siya, nag invite na labas daw kame. so ako malaing question mark. bakit ito nag paramdam bigla. so ako naman po atat din. sumama ako sa inviatation niya po. then after that labas yun nag tuloy tuloy na.haha this feb 2017 lang po naging official na kme ulit. we dont know nga po kung celebrate ba namen this April yung anniversary or hindi..haha

basta, ngaun msasabe ko po na hindi ko na siya papakawalan. lalo na nung andiyan kame sa isla. 3 days and 2 night make me realize na sobrang mahal ko pala talaga siya. and t i think ganun din siya. crossed finger. haha sa pag tulak and hila niya nalang skin during sa pag akyat sa bundok i really appreciate him po. thanks to sir diet sa pag pilit sakin pag punta ng dagit2 and liponpon.haha super unforgettable experience po.

3rd Month Anniversary of Sly and Angge

Recently we got this lovely thank you message from Sly and Angge who spent a special weekend with us.

It was a great pleasure and appreciation to be welcomed and stay here in Isla Verde Tropical Friendly Resort.  You guys made our 3rd month perfect and memorable.

We initially admit that the travel was quite rough and long but upon arriving at your humble island, everything was worth it.  Seeing the vast ocean, the unique set up of the villa, the cool ambiance of the cottages, it all felt relaxing and took all the exhaustion away!  What a sweet escape. 

All meals were cooked deliciously and the servings were gracious.  All your staff are accomodating from Dereck to Jaja to Rossel.  We would also like to recommend Diet for being fun to be with and professional.  He exerted a lot of effort teaching us how to snorkel and making sure we are safe and sound.

If we are to rate our stay here, it would be 10 out of 10.  And we would be definitely coming back with our friends with us.  Rest assured will 

send you good reviews. :)

Me and Jason would like to thank you for all the help and another experience here in Isla Verde, Batangas.  The 2 days and 2 nights experience is very worth it, yung scenery ng Isla Verde at yung paglibot sa mismong Isla.  Sa trekking, at yung kubo na sobrang ganda.  Mas magabda pala siya sa personal kesa sa pictures.
